Of course Japan is home to many strange laws, but to me the weirdest has to be that dog owners are required to "go" (crap in their pants) after every time their dog does! I mean, maybe this made sense in the Edo period when both dogs and humans ate primarily rice? Now it just seems way too old fashioned.
