Halloween Ultraman

 I can't even tell if that jack-o-lantern is supposed to be Ultraman, one of the other characters, or just sort of from that universe. The eyes are similar, but the mouth is a normal pumpkin mouth. Anyway, I give the artist a B+.

This is an ad for the Autumn Family Mart Festival. If you spend ¥700 or more, you have a chance at winning a prize. Maybe the prize has something to do with Ultraman this time, but usually at these sort of events you win the canned coffee they couldn't sell, or something.

Amazing Family Mart Spring Festival

I've already written extensively on the subject of Ultraman being a modern day Jesus. It seems Family Mart, a popular convenience store, has decided to use Ultraman in a sort of Easter substitute celebration.

You see, those monsters are demonstrating that if you spend over ¥700, you get a raffle ticket and can win a great prize. That crazy monster gets his claw stuck in the box! Religion can be fun after all!

Ultraman Assists Mochi Makers

Ultraman came to the mall today to make mochi. I thought he was actually going to make it, but apparently he can't see what he's doing, so he just did some punches in the air to sound effects, and two other dudes made the mochi. You could get your picture with him after they finished, but I seemed to be the only person over they age of eight without a child there, so I opted out.

Ultraman: A Modern Day Jesus/Santa?

For some reason the Japanese don't follow the tradition of forcing children to sit on a "magic" stranger's lap, but I did come across this Christmas Eve miracle. Ultraman made a visit to a toy store and allowed children to be photographed with him.
