The folks at Mr. Doughnut have done it again creating a bread that contains both yellow and black curry. They've also created an amazing ad that appears to be incredibly expensive. The research they did on Indian culture alone must have cost a fortune.
Sure, it does seem a little bit racist, but I won't say that I'm not relieved that someone finally worked out the whole black curry/yellow curry problem.
Who is this Japanese Martin Luther King of South Asian flavored snacks? Coming generations will owe him (or her!) a tremendous debt of gratitude.
I'm not sure what makes this particular curry black, but I've had curry in Japan with squid ink in it. It didn't seem to change the taste all that much.
