Cardboard Artist

I guess cardboard art is a thing because Monami Ohno says, "I am a Japanese cardboard artists." She certainly is one of the better cardboard artists, at least in Japan. Cleavage Diver Necklace

I've always been pretty in tune with how women think, and I know a lot of you can't stand all that creepy eye contact guys give you. "Are you even going to glance once at my jugs today?" is something I imagine you're always thinking. Guess what, ladies? Problem solved!


TANIMA DIVER Introduction movie from ekoD Works on Vimeo.

The fine folks at ekoD Works have made this "visual art series" called "Tanima Diver". Tanima means "valley" but can also mean "cleavage". So these little dudes look like their diving between your breasts. I know guys usually don't want to look there, but I've yet to meet a man who can keep his eyes off a toy scuba diver.

Andy Warhol Mints

You can finally get mints that come in Andy Warhol cans. There are three flavors, mint, grape, and cola (everyone's favorite flavor for a mint). I got the grape one. The outside packaging looks like this.

There are 30 different "art cans" to collect! And the mints are very sour and don't really seem to make your breathe smell good! I gotta get all these cans!

Everyday is a roller coaster!

TOKYO GIGANTIC GIRLS

This is an "art project" called Tokyo Gigantic Girls. Some may argue that this isn't really art per se, but you probably didn't notice that the title is written as 東巨, so it sounds like Tokyo, but it also has the kanji for "giant" in it. It's fun (i.e. art). Also, just think of how long the artist had to struggle coming up with a legitimate reason to point a camera up the skirt of a high school girl. If that video isn't enough for you, there are a lot more pictures and videos. There's an even more "artistic" video of a giant maid waking up.

I've got to say, I think I know what art is, and... shouldn't these girls be smashing stuff? At least pick up that train and shake it a little.

Takumi Kama

Let's admit it, these are strange times we live in. I mean, it's okay for a woman to be a woman, or for a man to be a woman, but for a man to be a REAL man? Apparently that's not acceptable in this modern world. Women are always saying that they want men to open up and share what they're thinking. But the second you tell them how you really feel, how you wish they were 16 or 17 years old..., and also maybe some sort of human-animal hybrid, all of a sudden you're "mentally unstable," and you "shouldn't be allowed near minors," and she "doesn't feel comfortable when you make eye-contact with her." Believe me, I learned the hard way not to share my true feelings with my better half.

Luckily, one artist is fighting back and depicting the world that all men wish were reality. His name is Takumi Kama, and he has completed his project entitled High School Animal Girls. You can see much of his art on his blog. Here's a taste of the pictures he has shared on twitter.

Rhino Poop

People are always asking, "Why do the citizens of Japan have such wonderful imaginations?!" I think it's because people are encouraged from a very young age to look at the world from different perspectives. This beautiful mural at the Higashiyama Zoo, for instance, challenges one to ask, "What if a rhino could crap deer poop?"
